The new NW Alpine Polartec ® Alpha Vest is a refined version of our classic vest, with an updated fit, and a new ripstop fabric that is dyed in our own factory. True to its name, the Alpha Vest uses the best breathable insulation on the market, Polartec ® Alpha ®. The Alpha Vest is ridiculously warm for its weight yet the insulation is breathable when you are working hard, making it the perfect piece for high exertion outdoor activities. Weighing in at a mere 6 oz, there's no reason not to bring the Alpha Vest along on your next alpine climbing trip, ski tour, or trail run.

This vest has a reversible design so you can rock whichever color you prefer. Features include a low lumbar zip pocket which allows access even whilst wearing a running pack. This pocket also doubles as a stuff sack for the vest. The armpits are high and snug to minimize shift while running. As an added bonus, the front zipper is a burly #5 Nylon Coil YKK Zipper, ensuring function even in the worst mountain weather.

Awesome

Great vest. Light, thin ,and really warm. Easy to pack away and use when needed. Easy to forget it's even on if worn as a midlayer. Pretty friggin awesome.

Bro, I can’t tell you how stoked I was to find a jacket that they didn’t even bother to put sleeves on! Sleeves are for ******* nerds and you guys nailed this so hard that it’s going to be sore for a week! Shinny *** ******* freedom that is so warm!
