United StatesMost comfortable hiking pants I've ever worn
These pants are a wonderful departure from your typical mainstream hiking pants. They are incredibly lightweight, have a decent amount of stretch, and are lightly water resistant but dry in a flash. I wore them for 10 days of backpacking in Olympic National Park and was so grateful to have had them as no other hiking pant I've ever owned would have been up to the rain and mud. Full disclosure - I actually bought these because of the elastic waistband. I completed the backpacking trip at 26 weeks pregnant, and there is a severe shortage of maternity hiking pants available. These worked perfectly, and I can still wear them at 32+ weeks. Even if that's not the fit you're looking for, don't let my review dissuade you. My husband took one look at my pants when they arrived, ordered himself a pair in the same size, and they fit his 6'3'' and 160 lb frame perfectly. We both agree that these are the best hiking pants we've ever worn!

I love these pants. I bought 2 pair and they are very versatile and comfortable. The only upgrade I would make would be a opposite side waist pocket - but I would not hesitate to order another pair just the way they are.
