Just got the emerald color today and in comparison to the previous Black Spyder hoodies I have, this one isn't as soft and feels much thinner/less warm. The previous ones rapidly became my favorite all-around hoodies- they were amazing for both climbing and belaying on multipitch climbs, mountain runs, and even as a base layer for skiing. Based on the changes in the fabric, I'm not optimistic this will be as great.
I’m 5’7, 135lb, 34b and got the small. I really like how it fits except the upper arms are quite snug. I can wear a thin baselayer under it with no problem except in the arms where it’s tight. I may get another one in medium so I have the option of wearing a heavier layer underneath on colder days.
We tested it hiking around Dallas in negative 15 degrees and then took it snow shoeing up a mountain in Northern Washington. Perfect product and you can't get better. They are so comfortable, my husband bought three and that's all he seems to wear around the house anymore.
I love how long the arms & torso are, although it is a lot thinner then expected
I love this hoodie very much. I got it about six months ago and it immediately became my favorite garment. It’s warm, light, and tough. I really appreciate that I can tug the sleeves up and they stay up; I don’t have to constantly fiddle with them, and they don’t stretch out. The neck zip goes deep enough that I can cool down without taking it off. And it’s the perfect length. LOVE IT.
